About

I am a journalist originally from the San Francisco Bay Area with a passion for storytelling that started while working on my high school paper. I currently work for WWL-TV as a digital content producer in New Orleans. I cover local and breaking news in New Orleans and produce, edit and publish content across a variety of media platforms for the station. I graduated with a B.A. in journalism from the Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University in May 2022 and also graduated from Barrett Honors College. I have written for the Copper Courier, Arizona Republic/AZCentral, ASU’s newspaper The State Press,  Cronkite News/Arizona PBS, and Phoenix Magazine. I have covered breaking news, the COVID-19 pandemic, college sports and esports, and lifestyle and current events in the Phoenix area. I also have a particular interest in covering the intersection of sports and social justice which is a subject I’m extremely passionate about.

I am actively pursuing a career in journalism. I dedicated myself to it throughout high school and college, and I continue to do so in my professional career. Whether it’s beat reporting for ASU Basketball or breaking crime stories in the New Orleans area, I always give 100% in my reporting. I strive to be an ethical and informative reporter who tells stories that make an impact in our world.
